Qatar is at peace with all other countries including Israel. And Qatar welcomes and is enjoying peaceful engagement with NATO states. But Qatar sympathizes with the Palestinians and Lebanese during the 2024 incursions by the Israeli government, and has been calling for a change in attitude from the Israeli side. Qatar hosted a tremendously successful World Cup for people around the world. It was an international celebration. The country hosted people from all corners of globe, demonstrating something important - that diverse religious and ethnic groups can get along exceedingly well. It was a wonderful moment for Qatar’s leadership in the world because it was the first time the event was held in an Arab Muslim country. It was very well produced. Qatar gained substantial regional prestige and global credibility as a result.

Qatar has a strong sense of ethics and morality. The country has an exemplary foreign policy of peace. They nominated themselves and were selected to lead the United Nations Organizational Committee of Peacebuilding for 2023 and 2024. (The country is representing the Asia and Pacific Group.) That's a wonderful way for the government to lead others. Their diplomats are uniquely talented. Consequently, their pursuit of calm relations for all countries bodes well for peace globally. Qatar may be central to helping all populations and governments to be at peace with each other in coming months and years.
