Suriname is a thinly populated equatorial and coastal Latin American country near Venezuela that borders Brazil, Guyana and French Guiana. The country is moderately developed as a consequence of its natural resources with beautiful coastline and rain forests.


Suriname was originally settled centuries ago by the Dutch before gaining independence. Suriname probably houses migrants from Venezuela who seek employment in the global economy. The country called for peace globally at the United Nations.
