The minimum you must know

The Co-operative Republic of Guyana is a small thinly populated coastal nation in northeastern Latin America. It was originally colonized by the British and Dutch, which created a parliamentary democracy there with a capitalist economy. Perhaps there are cooperative European-Guyanese relations today as a result. Guyana received countless refugees from bordering Venezuela when NATO economic pressure led them to seek employment in the global economy abroad. Probably the flow of them has slowed. But Guyana - like all of the other countries in the region - has been forced to provide humanitarian aid to a lot of people. So the government can benefit from a helpful attitude from all other ones. Approaching half the population are below the poverty line.
