The peace-loving Marshall Islands are an infinitesimally small nation in the middle of the Pacific Ocean that are said to be important to the global balance of power. These Micronesian islands are inconvenient to reach for major Asian and North American countries. Indeed, the Micronesian Islands are probably dependent upon countries on those continents - instead of the other way around. But rhetoric has created a very opposite perception that the Marshall Islands can shift the balance of global nuclear power because of their potential use for military bases - where dangerous weapons might be stored far enough away from mainland populations not to pose ongoing existential threats to them. The Marshall Islands reportedly were the location of weapons of mass destruction testing in the past.

The Marshall Islands government did not pattern "peace" at the United Nations, and ominously surfaced nuclear weapons in their presentation instead. That makes their presentation absolutely fascinating to people in communication as a result.
