The minimum you must know
Lesotho is a densely populated developing non-coastal country that's entirely within South African borders, making it the largest enclave in the world. Consequently, the country is largely depending upon South Africa for trade. It's sometimes called the "Mountain Kingdom" and the "Kingdom in the Sky" for the mountainous terrain. The population is well educated .
Historically settled by Dutch and colonized by the United Kingdom, the country achieved independence from Europe in the 1960s. It was originally formed by King Moshoeshoe in the 1800s and returned to his descendent's rule following independence. King Moshoeshoe II ruled until 1995, when his son ascended to the throne, and has ruled ever since.
King of Lesotho, Letsie III, and his distinguished Prime Minister, both patterned "peace' at the United Nations eloquently.
