The People's Republic of Bangladesh is situated near China within the northeastern corner of India. It's surrounded and bordered entirely by India on three sides except Myanmar is to the southeast. Several heads of state lost their lives within a short time of each other in the late 20th century, creating a reputation for lawlessness and political instability. But that past may not be the future. Bangladesh is also advancing politically and socially fast enough to achieve a much brighter future.
